Three strips arranged horizontally, intended to be cut and arranged as a border; a succession of little scenes, with the words of the speakers etched above, the figures grotesque, with large heads. The subjects are masquerade disguises, courtship, lawyers and devils, the attractiveness of volunteers, sailor fashions, absconding from a tollgate, a 'dismounted cavalry' riding on a horse-drawn cart. c. 1800
