- Curator's comments
- A later state of an etching by Piranesi first published by Amidei in the 'Varie Vedute di Roma' (see 1923,0209.1.74). Few changes have been made to the plate, with the exception of the additon of Piale's publication details and the Volume/page reference in the upper left hand corner.
Part of a bound series of 49 etchings published by Piale, Rome. See 1947,0319.6.1-49 for entire set and see 1947,0319.6.0 for further comment.
