- This was included in the 5th Exhibition of the Lawrence Gallery, no. 68 as Leonardo.
After the Fenwick catalogue Popham moved this to Aspertini, but it has been returned to the traditional attribution of Leonardo, in spite of it being by a right-hand artist, as it does not seem Bolognese. Ketty Gottardo has kindly pointed out (September 2019) that another version of this work from the Robert Witt bequest to the Courtauld is catalogued there under the name of Giovanni da Udine (D.1952.RW.47).
