- This is not related to any known print by Bonasone. The composition is comparable to a number of engravings designed by Bonasone including the 'Judgement of Paris' (Bartsch XV, p. 143, no. 112) and 'Cupid in the Elysian Fields' (Bartsch XV, p. 139, 101). The traditional attribution has been questioned only by Faietti in her article on Bonasone's drawings (2000), although her misgivings about the drawing seem to have been resolved by the time of the Louvre catalogue where she cautiously accepts it as autograph ('il y a quelques raisons de croire ègalment à Bonasone pour le "Jugement de Pâris" ').
