- Arisi connects the angel on the l with that on the altar of S Teresa, in S Maria delle Scala in Rome, and observes some analogies of the angel on the r with those in the Ciborio di S Romualdo at Ravenna, No DIS 131 (verso). Bent Sørensen has pointed out that the seated pope is copied from Algardi's tomb of Leo XI in St Peter's.
