With historical and descriptive accounts of each. By John Britton, F.S.A. In five volumes. Vol. IV' (London: M.A. Nattali) 1835; containing 76 etchings by various printmakers showing ruins, architectural details, plans, interiors and elevations of buildings. Together with illustrated title-page by J. Le Keux after F. Mackenzie, the main title-page with text within ornamental wood-engraved frame by O. Jewitt, index and list of illustrations at the back; with bookplate of Cavendish de Thornton dated 1857. Bound in green half-leather, with marbled covers, raised bands and gold tooled design at the spine, and marbled endpapers. Etching with some engraving
