- According to records in the Department of Prints & Drawings dated 4. xii.1943, Frith gave this drawing to his son Philip, who displayed it on the walls of his city office until his retirement when he gave it to an old school friend, Mr. J. Proctor, from whom the Leger Gallery acquired it.
