- From a series of fifty black and white lithographs, most with some hand-colouring in beige and white, published in 1833 by Charles Hullmandel, bound in a volume, with title page lettered: 'Facsimiles of / sketches made in / Flanders and Germany / and / drawn on stone / by / Samuel Prout FSA / Painter in water colours in ordinary / to His Majesty / C Hullmandel's Lithography', followed by a page printed with dedication 'to Her Most Excellent Majesty the Queen' by Samuel Prout, facsimile of a note written in pen and ink about prospects of the publication of another series 'of fifty picturesque subjects, - from Geneva to Rome including Venice', and printed list of subscribers over two pages.
The clothes of some figures are hand-coloured.
