Together with pages from other publications, handwritten notes, and 12 parts of the book 'The war in Idia' (London: John Ollivier & Ackerman, 1846) pasted on the album pages: the first booklet with title and a folded hand-coloured map of Northern India as frontispiece; other chapeters with heading 'War with the Sikhs' on top and the maps: 'Position of the army of the Sutlej', 'Plan of the battle of Aliwal', ''Plan of the battle of Sahraon', and 'Sketch of the encampment of the army of the Sutlej'. Bookplate of Robert Needham Cust pasted inside front cover, various blank pages at the back. Bound in half-leather, with title in gold at the front cover.
