‘The adventures of Mr Obadiah Oldbuck; wherein are dully set forth the crosses, chagrins, calamities, checks, chills, changes and circumgirations by which his courtship was attended. Showing also, the issue of his suit and his espousal to his ladyelove’ (London, Tilt & Bogue) n.d. [1841?]; containing illustrated title-page and 83 in-laid pages of lithographs after the originals by Töpffer, forming a graphic novel/comic strip with plate numbers at the bottom. Wax stamp ‘A’ on inside cover. Bound by Leighton & Eeles in brown quarter-leather with bookcloth covers, blind tooled border on both covers, with gold tooled figure and title on front cover.
