Bound volume containing 233 engravings of plants by Abraham Bosse, Nicolas Robert, and L. de Chatillon. Specimens of leaves, flowers, roots etc. published by order of Louis XIV under the superintendence of A. Bosse. Alphabetically arranged, and inscribed with names in Latin and French, some with manuscript annotations, and numbered by hand. In green BM binding with "Engravings of Plants [Vol.] I" on spine. One of two related volumes from the collection of Hans Sloane.
