Three lions hiding in three different forests; at left we see a forest and the lion's hind legs; at right the lion's head comes out of the forest and in the background the lion is depicted standing under the trees with an eagle flying over them; first state before woodblock reduced; printed within an ornamental border with floral motif on vertical ends and heads with flowers on lower horizontal end; German letterpress on verso; illustration to Lichtenberger's "Practica und Pronostication" (Mainz: 1526)
