- For the album see 1938,0514.4(1).
The print pasted on the sheet is after Marcantonio, following a design by Raphael and was printed in 1610 by Antonio Carenzano. Resta added it to the MS to prove Correggio's use of the figure of St John the Baptist for one of his paintings with the same subject in the collection of Magnavacca (untraced) see also p. 5 of this album with a copy of the painting by Pier Leone Ghezzi.
