'A series of twenty-nine designs of modern costume, drawn and engraved by Henry Moses, Esq.' (London: E. & C. McLean) 1823; containing 29 etchings by Moses, most without a title, showing figures evoking designs of figures from antique vases and sculptures; the images with title are: 'Le beau monde', 'Belinda', 'Pan and Syrunx', 'Sophia', 'Pericles', 'Echo and Narcissus' and 'Sophia', the images with only the outlines. Together with illustrated title-sheet with etched vignette showing three ladies in a balcony, the text within a wood-engraved border. Bound in red half-leather, marbled covers, label with letterpress title pasted on front covers, gold tooled details at the spine.
