- According to the manuscript register of 1935, the attribution of this drawing to Coninxloo rests on the identity of style which it shows to a signed drawing also in the album that belonged Lord Treowen (whereabouts now unknown).

- One of four drawings (1935,0413. 3, 4, 5 & 6) that were formerly in an album of Netherlandish drawings in the collection of Lord Treowen at Llanover House, which was acquired by Alfred Jowett before 11 November 1934 from R.E.A.Wilson (see letter in 1934 letter book from Wilson to A.M. Hind).
