Tangier from the SW; view from a grassy slope, below Catherine Fort, a fortified town in the mid-distance with buildings including Peterborough Tower, beyond the town the bay curving round by Old Tangier to Cape Malabata, in the distance, the Spanish Coast and Gibraltar, and on the left, a separate slip of paper showing an alteration in the lie of the land on which stands Whitehall Fort. c.1669
