Broadside on St Coloman; printed on two sheets; on left sheet below the title a woodcut of the saint as a whole-length figure in frontal view, dressed as a pilgrim, with the coats of arms of the empire, the archduchy of Austria, of Scotland and of Stabius in the corners; on right sheet 124 lines of letterpress verse in Latin by Johann Stabius describing the martyrdom, miracles and veneration of the saint. Curator's comments
Dodgson attributes this print to Springinklee, as does Meder, while Schoch states that the figure is drawn too well to have been designed by Springinklee. BM also has a later impression without text, see 1895,0122.683. The printer Weissenburger is taken from German STC.
