- The full set is 1931,1114.625(1-12). This is the first edition, published at the old address of Compton Holland, probably by his widow Hester Holland (a number of prints dated to 1621-3 carry this address line without a name). The set was re-issued by Thomas Geele, Thomas Booth, Peter Stent (who added the title to the set), and finally John Overton. For the third edition, published by Booth, see 1870,0514.1145-1156. See the appendix with a list of series published in Caroline London in 'The Print in Stuart Britain', BM 1998 p.312.
The author of the lines of verse below each couple has been identified by Malcom Jones as Abraham Holland, brother of Compton. Each month is also accompanied by the relevant sign of the zodiac (with the exception of July, which is accompanied by the sign of Virgo, instead of Leo if the correct order was being followed).
