- Curator's comments
- This lithograph is part of a set titled 'Les Marionnettes de Paris et de Londres, Dessinées d'après Nature par Henry Monnier', published by Giraldon-Bovinet, in Paris and in London, in 1826. It consists of six plates, printed variously by Motte, Noël or Bove, but only five of the plates are known, and only one is numbered (no.6). There is also a titlepage.
