- The etcher was presumably a pupil of G G Delotz, and was working after his designs. Campbell Dodgson notes that one of the etchings after Delotz with the monogram "C.J.R." can be dated to 1867; see the note in Print Quarterly, October 1929, Vol. XVI, p. 304 and 1929,0810.17.
