- Acquisition notes
- One of seven proofs of Le Blon purchased as a group. See Dodgson's report of 6 July 1929. The two sets of proofs were sold from the Schwerin Museum after WWI, and were bought in 1928 by Knoedler from a dealer in Munich for $1,975. The sale to an American client having fallen through, they were offered to the BM at more or less cost price.
