- After a pastel by Coypel, c.1730, formerly in the collection of the Count of Morville and now lost; Coypel also did a painting of the same subject c.1740, which is now kept in a private collection in England; also see Thierry François, 'Charles Coypel 1694-1752', Paris 1994, cat. no. P114 and G2.
IFF describes a different state, without Surugue's address, and with Lépicié's address given as 'rue St Jqcues au dessus des Jacobins'.
