- Acquired as by Philips Koninck and moved to Gillis Neyts in 1997 (attribution suggested by Martin Royalton-Kisch) although it is not included in P. Gustot, "Gillis Neyts, Un paysagiste Brabançon en vallée Mosane au XVIIe siècle", Namur, 2008.
The watermark resembles that in a drawing attributed to Johannes Lepenius in Rotterdam.
