- Stamped in brown ink 'Bibliotheca Lindesiana'. The BM bought 45 lots at the 1925 sale of the Lindsay library collection of French revolutionary and Napoleonic era prints through Agnew's for a total of £92 17s (1925, 0615.131 to 466). The collection had been formed by the vendor's father, the 26th Earl. The BM acquired many other prints from the same collection at other times.
