A broadside on the appointment of Napoleon as First Consul, Cambacérés as Second and Lebrun as Third Consul; with Bonaparte at centre holding a scroll reading 'conditions de paix', flanked by Cambacérès at right and Lebrun at left holding scrolls reading, respectively, 'amour des loix [sic]' and 'payement des Rentiers'; Bonaparte wears a ceremonial uniform, the other two a costume comprising of a cloak draped over the shoulder and a cap. 1799

- The BM bought 45 lots at the 1925 sale of the Lindsay library collection of French revolutionary and Napoleonic era prints through Agnew's for a total of £92 17s (1925,0615.131 to 466). The collection had been formed by the vendor's father, the 26th Earl. The BM acquired many other prints from the same collection at other times.
