Curator's comments
After a painting dated 1632 by Rembrandt in the Musée du Louvre (inv. no. 1740; Bredius 431). It is a pair to 1924,0415.20, after a painting by Koninck also in the Louvre, formerly attributed to Rembrandt (inv. no. 1740).
