Design for a ceiling: assembly of the gods; in the centre before an aureole is Apollo, below him on the right seated on clouds Venus and Mars with Chronos, on the left Jupiter and Diana with Mercury flying above, putti with musical instruments and garlands between, surrounded by a balustrade with peacocks at the lower edge.

- See J. Strasser, 'Januarius Zick', Weissenhorn 1994, no.Z122. This is a study for the fresco dated 1787 in the Akademiesaal of the Schloss in Mainz (Strasser FXII) which was destroyed in WWII. An oil-sketch in a private collection is Strasser G337.
