One of an edition of 100 impressions. This print, folded down the centre, and with some extra lettering, served as the outer cover for a collection of songs by Jean Goudezki set to music by Désiré Dihau. Each piece was published separately and had its own cover design (five by Lautrec, the remainder by Ibels and others), and this wrapper seems to have been commissioned by the publisher Ondet as an inducement to buy the whole set. Dihau, who is the man in the top hat, was Lautrec's cousin; he appears in Degas' painting 'L'Orchestre de l'Opéra' (in the Louvre) playing the bassoon. The bear is Goudezki.
