Plate 27: In a boat rocked by waves, steered by a boatman at right, Madame Prudhomme is seated next to her husband at the head of the boat, burying her head in his chest from fear; meanwhile, the strong wind lifts M. Pruhomme's hat off into the air; originally published in 'Le Charivari', 26 Oct. 1859; fourth state, with the title of the original series removed.
