- One of a group of drawings of English munition works, 1916. These were made, in lithographic chalk, by permission of the Ministry of Munitions in the summer of 1916. 51 of them were transferred to stone or zinc and published as lithographs; also, much reduced, in J. Pennell's 'Pictures of War Work in England', (W, Heinemann, 1917), with introduction by H.G. Wells and texts by the artist. The rest are unpublished.
This work is from the second of two volumes of mounted drawings held by the Department of Prints and Drawings, 95 in total. 13 are also separately mounted Imperial.
This drawing was unpublished.
