The collection formed by Mr E.E.Leggatt of the complete work of the artist Fred Walker, including original drawings and watercolours as well as impressions of wood-engravings and photographs, tracings and original letters; there are 630 such items in total, which were mounted by the donor on 127 sheets, each of which has been given an separate register number, and are arranged in chronological order. The items on the sheets, although not consecutively numbered, do have catalogue numbers that refer to the associated documentation (see comment below).

- Curator's comments
- The collection is accompanied by a box of related material. It contains an index of envelopes arranged alphabetically by the title of each work. Each envelope takes the form of an entry providing basic catalogue information on each work, and sometimes contains extra information as an enclosure inside. There is also a manuscript index book with titles in alphabetical order that gives references to the sheet and item number.
