- This is one of a series of twelve plates showing village scenes after Hans Bol by Johannes and Lucas Van Doetecum (New Hollstein 221-232), published by Hieronymus Cock in 1562 (dated on first plate of the series). This series was also published in 1630 by Hendrick Hondius. For some other prints of this series in BM collection see also F,1.302-305 1924,0714.23.
