- This print was a "Lay Member Print" for the Senefelder Club for 1913. The Club admitted one hundred members other than artists on payment of an annual subscription of one guinea. Such "Lay Members" received each year a signed proof of a lithograph specially drawn by a member of the Senefelder Club, which was not obtainable by the public.
Impressions were shown in several later exhibitions: Senefelder Club exhibition, 1914, at the Camera Club; Senefelder Club exhibition,1929, at the Twenty-One Gallery, London (cat. 3); The Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts,1929 (cat.744); The Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts,1932 (cat.757); International Exhibition of the Senefelder Club, Fulham Central Library, Hanley Art Gallery, 1934 (cat. 3); International Exhibition of the Senefelder Club, Manchester Art Gallery, 1934 (cat. 87); International Exhibition of the Senefelder Club, Brighton Public Art Gallery, 1934 (cat. 22); Collection of lithographs loaned by the Senefelder Club,1935-36, Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin, Wanganui and Wellington, New Zealnd (cat. 44).
