Georges Dandin is ordered by his inlaws to beg his wife's forgiveness; he is seen at left, wearing a nightgown, kneeling outside his house while his father-in-law points to the ground and his mother-in-law stands at right, supporting her daughter; etched state, with remarque of a kneeling man, of illustration to 'Le Bourgeois gentilhomme' in 'Les Oeuvres de Molière' (Paris: Lemonnyer & Testard). 1892
