- For a working proof, see 1932,1128.9. The painting was exhibited at the summer exhibition of the Royal Academy of Arts, London in 1879 (no.487) and is now in Manchester Art Gallery (147.7 x 217.6 cm; 1902.14), the gift of the sons of Abraham Haworth in memory of their father.
