This cut is attributed by Schreiber and Dodgson to the "Master of the Aachen Madonna", and Dodgson further notes, the cut belonged to the "l" series of copies of the Passion by the "Master of the Berlin Passion", listed in Lehrs (vol III, p.33). Lehrs, however, states this cut has no relation to the engraving.
