The present cut is a copy after a lost engraving by the "Master of the Berlin Passion", cf. Lehrs, vol. III, p. 71, No. 26.k.
The inscription on the scroll does not make sense; the engraved shield with the three circles is listed in Schreiber VI, p. 113, No. CXXXVII.a
