A book containing a series of 48 [of 50, plate 6 of Master Hope, and plate 41 of the Countess of Grosvenor are missing] mezzotints after the paintings of Lawrence, with an engraved titlepage and the address of Henry Graves & Co, made between the 1830s and late 1840s to the commission of Hodgson & Graves; the impressions are faced with a blank sheet of paper and accompanied by another sheet of description of the sitter and the painting; the frontispiece is a portrait of George IV, the (unnumbered) engraved titlepage has a vignette portrait of Lawrence, and is followed by a list of the paintings, their owners, and the engravers (London, nd)

- The plates were evidently made over a period of years and possibly published individually in the first place. This volume is a later re-issue or reprint with the address of Henry Graves & Co on the titleplate (ie post-1844).
