Interior with grouped portraits of officers who served in the Peninsular War, including General Paget standing over a map on a table at which General Combermere sits on the left, Marshal Beresford and Lieutenant Keane sitting on the right with a plumed helmet on the ground in front of them, and General Murral standing to the right of Wellington in the centre, gesturing towards General Bradford, who stands on the left, presenting himself: scratched-letter proof. 1847 Mixed method with hand-colouring

Curator's comments
A handwritten key identifying the sitters is pasted on the back of the print. The BM also has a copy of the key published with this print, (1955,0721.2) identifying the portraits and giving the prices: "Prints, £4.4s. Proofs with Letters, "8.8s. First Proofs before Letters, £12.12s.".
