- Curator's comments
- Rodin had exhibited at the Dudley Gallery, Egyptian Hall (Piccadilly) a plaster of Laurens (no.92) in his first group exhibition in London in 1883 which had opened on the 26 May. The show was of 'pictures, drawings and sculpture, by a group of twelve well-known French artists' all of whom, except Rodin, are now obscure. For the related print see 2006,U.2574.
