- Curator's comments
- Patricia May Seckler placed this with drawings for the 'Carceri', the similarities are only generic and the setting is an exterior one. It is perhaps more likely a drawing in the manner of the etchings, from the very impressionistic manner of drawing a dating around the 1761 second edition of the 'Carceri' would fit, although it could even be later.
