- Curator's comments
- Jacinto Regalado (email March 2021): 'This print is not related to a literary work. It was published in 1876, probably in an illustrated newspaper; it depicts the staircase of Cromwell House, which was then a convalescent hospital for Great Ormond Street Hospital (hence the children, their mother and a nurse)'.
