Bound volume of 89 prints from 47 plates, Volume II of G C Williamsons's 'Catalogue of the Collection of Miniatures' (London: The Chiswick Press, 1906); private catalogue and images of miniatures in Pierpont Morgan's collection, including facsimiles of artist signatures on verso; reproductions of British miniature portraits, some hand-coloured: after Samuel Collins, Lewis Vaslet, Robert Strange, John Bogle, Joseph Saunders, Priscilla Wright, Benjamin Arlaud, John Donaldson, P Jean. Samuel Shelley, William Wood, Ozias Humphry, John Smart, Samuel Cotes, Penelope Cotes (? Cawardine), Margaretm Countess of Lucas, John Hoppner, Benjamin West, Richard Cosway, John Comerford, Elizabeth Dawe, Henry Raeburn, Nathaniel Plimer, George Engleheart, Andrew Plimer, W Grimaldi, Thomas Lawrence, Adam Buck, John Hazlitt, C Ford of Bath, Maria Cosway, J Trumbull, Anne Mee, J C D Engleheart, William Newton, J Holmes, William Ross, George Lance and Dante Gabriel Rossetti. Bound in red morocco with gold lettering, and padded silk inserts within boards, printed on Japanese vellum with gilt edges.

Edition limited to forty copies, and privately circulated only. This copy is number twenty-four.
The plates were engraved by Hallett Hyatt, who photographed them and overswa the hand-colouring of the reproductions as well.
