(Augsburg, Johann Rynnmann and Hansen Othmar) 1512; book in German with titlepage and one initial red and black, other initials red or black; 16 woodcut illustrations (four repeated) by Hans Schäufelein depicting two angels with the 'IHS' monogram (repeated), God the father and Heinrich Suso with texts on six banderoles, Christ protecting the soul sitting on Suso's lap, Mary and the child presenting Suso a Medicine, anangel consoling Suso with monks and nuns at right (repeated), an angel consoling a nun (repeated), St. Anna in a garden of a castle (repeated), Suso in front of the crucified Christ, a nun tortured by evil spirits, Suso kneeling in front of the Virgin and child, Suso kneeling in front of the crucifix, Suso consolded by angels with Christ and Mary in medallion at upper right, Suso honouring a Christian knight, God the father blessing Suso and other people adoring Jesus's name, the mystic path to eternal wisdom, Suso playing a harp for Christ as the man of Sorrows, and the soul guided to heaven in confession; and one woodcut by Hans Burgkmair of the rosary festival. 1512
