- The engraved verses read "De bubbel Jongen, die zyn Schatten heeft verspild, Tragt nu naar voordeel, met het Jagen von grof wild", which has been translated by Jaap Wilms (in his note on Het Groote Tafereel, 298.c.4,5) as "The bubble Boy who's wasted his Fortunes, now Tries to profit by hunting big game".
