- The inscription indicates that the print was copied after 'une ancienne estampe'; perhaps this 'old print' is Jean Marot's 'Veue [sic] de la Maison et de l'église des P. P. de l'Oratoire', which is almost identical.
At first a Catholic church, the Oratoire has been a Protestant temple since 1811.
