- The book contains ninety-one illustrations to the Old Testament; one woodcut on each page, with a brief caption and the chapter of the book lettered above each. The first four woodcuts of this edition, including this print of the Fall of Adam and Eve, were designed for Holbein's Dance of Death series and cut by Lützelberger.
