Curator's comments
Acquired as by Federigo Zuccaro. Transferred to Jacopo Palma by A E Popham in 1940. By the same hand as 1885,0509.1661 which is a certain work by Giacomo Franco. The drawing is broadly comparable to the print of musical lovers in the 'Habiti delle donne veneziane' series of 1610 and was perhaps drawn around the same time.
