- The dating of this is uncertain. It forms part of a series with de Vinck 6473-4: see 'French Caricature and the French Revolution' Grunwald Center UCLA 1988, cat.117-9 for reproductions. Although dated there c.1793, they seem more likely to belong to the Thermidorian reaction.
