Curator's comments: Included in a set of illustrations to Tomkins' edition of Thomson's 'Seasons', engraved by Bartolozzi and Tomkins (Calabi + de Vesme 1794-1804, which does not provide a full list). This state could be Calabi + De Vesme 1794 II with production details and publication line cut off. Date from other impressions (1859,0312.388; 1887,0613.38).
